Card Verse

In every path I take in life
I leave behind footprints
That mark where I have been
And where I have gone

The tears that I have cried
The wonders that I have seen
The dreams that I have harbored
All create a mirage of memories
That I will one day share with you

There were hardships that I had to endure
Challenges that I had to overcome
Goals that I had to accomplish
That only brought me closer to the likeness of you

And through it all, I hold this place in my heart
A moment promised in time
When heaven and earth become one
And I look out and see no one but you.

I believe that God created footprints
That you may find me
I follow the path in which Angels guide me
And have this knowingness that you will follow

And if you are to arrive at this place first
Know that I am coming
That I too have followed the footprints
That you left behind

And when this moment arrives
We will have amazing stories
We will be more grateful
We will give thanks

And then we will set out on our adventure
And together holding hands, along this path
We will forever create footprints
On our journey home
